My suggestion for National Pizza Day, nice but quite healthy actually! This recipe makes two pizzas so you can spoil a friend 🙂 The wholegrain base tastes slightly nutty and will keep your blood sugar levels even. Add toppings of choice and enjoy!
350g wholegrain flour (I use spelt)
2 heaped tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
A splash of olive oil
Mix the flour with the baking powder in a bowl and add the water. Stir until about to come together, then tip it onto your work surface and knead by hand. If it’s too stiff, add some water. If it’s too sticky, add a bit of flour.
Divide it into two balls, flatten them with your hands and transfer onto a pizza baking tray.
Add your toppings of choice and bake for about 15-20 mins
